Plainly Explained
This policy describes what information we collect when you use the Nikoo.tv website (nikoo.tv), the Olgoo website (olgoo.com), and the OlgooTV iPhone application, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language.
Who We Are and What This Covers
Olgoo Enterprise Services Inc. (“Olgoo”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian company headquartered in North York, Ontario, Canada. We operate the Nikoo.tv website (nikoo.tv), the Olgoo website (olgoo.com), the live-broadcasting platform, and the OlgooTV iPhone application (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy applies to all of the Services. The OlgooTV iPhone app is a thin shell that displays Olgoo’s web pages inside a mobile WebView, so most of the data practices described below are the same on the website and in the app.
The short version: Olgoo does not require an account to watch or listen, does not sell personal information, does not run third-party advertising trackers, and stores app preferences only on your own device.
Information We Collect
1. Information you provide directly
You can browse and watch olgoo.com and use the OlgooTV app without creating an account. If you choose to contact us by email, contribute media, or use the Operator/Admin tools, we receive only the information you send us (for example, your email address, message content, or files you upload).
2. Information stored on your device
The OlgooTV app stores a small set of preferences locally on your iPhone using secure on-device storage. These values never leave your device. Stored items include:
- Your selected language (Persian / English)
- Other interface preferences you set within the app
You can clear these at any time from the app’s Settings tab, or by uninstalling the app.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most web platforms, our servers and content delivery network record standard technical information when your device requests a page or media file. This typically includes IP address, device/browser type, the page or media requested, and the time of the request. This information is used only to deliver content, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and measure aggregate usage.
4. We do not collect
- We do not request access to your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or location.
- We do not run third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not use cross-app or cross-site tracking identifiers (App Tracking Transparency: not used).
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
How Information Is Used
We use the limited information described above only to:
- Deliver the live and on-demand audio, video, and subtitle content you request.
- Remember your preferences (language, base URL) on your device.
- Operate and secure the platform, including detecting abuse and debugging.
- Respond when you contact us.
- Improve our AI models and platform — using only de-identified, aggregated technical data, never personal identifiers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use your data for behavioural advertising.
iPhone App Permissions
The OlgooTV app declares one iOS background mode: Audio. This allows live radio and recorded audio to keep playing when your screen locks or when you switch apps. It does not grant access to the microphone or record any audio.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, calendar, motion data, or health data.
Third-Party Services We Rely On
To deliver media reliably at scale we use a small number of standard infrastructure service providers — for categories such as website hosting, cloud storage, content delivery, and live-stream delivery. These providers may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) needed to route content to your device. They act as our service providers and are contractually bound to process that information only on our behalf, never for their own marketing purposes.
The OlgooTV iPhone app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any crash reports or diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Some pages may embed media from independent third-party platforms (for example, embedded video from public video-sharing sites). When you play that media, the third-party platform’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

Children’s Privacy
Olgoo is a general-audience media platform and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at Admin@olgoo.com and we will delete it.
Your Choices and Rights
Because Olgoo collects very little personal information, you usually do not need to take any action to protect your privacy. You always have the right to:
- Clear local app settings from the OlgooTV Settings tab, or uninstall the app.
- Ask us what information we hold that identifies you, and request its deletion.
- Withdraw consent for any processing that requires consent.
- File a complaint with your local privacy regulator. In Canada this is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To exercise any of these rights, email Admin@olgoo.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
How Long We Keep Information
Server access logs are retained only for as long as needed to operate and secure the platform, typically a few months. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained longer. Content you publicly contribute to the platform is retained as long as the platform hosts it, unless you ask us to remove it.
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong device passcode and to keep iOS and the OlgooTV app up to date.
International Data Transfers
Olgoo is operated from Canada and uses cloud infrastructure that may store data in Canada, the United States, or other countries. By using the Services you acknowledge that information may be processed in those locations under their applicable laws.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
