Olgoo builds AI-powered broadcasting infrastructure — real-time subtitle generation, semantic search, and multi-channel live streaming — serving Persian-speaking communities across Canada and internationally.
Most AI companies are built on client contracts that end. Olgoo is different: the Iranian-Canadian diaspora's need for independent, uncensored media is permanent and growing. That permanence drives our R&D continuously.
Our work is validated by the Canada Revenue Agency through two consecutive SR&ED program approvals (2024 and 2025 tax years). We are currently advancing our platform from a live operational prototype (TRL 7) to full commercial deployment (TRL 9).

Real-Time Subtitle Engine
Whisper-based ASR with proprietary multi-vector semantic indexing. Persian/English bilingual. WER 13.2%, DER 12.6%, end-to-end latency under 3 seconds in live production.
Semantic Search
Natural language search across live and archived broadcasts. Three complementary vector representations per segment with bounded reranking — MRR improved from 0.71 to 0.79 over single-vector baseline.
Embedding Stabilization
Proprietary hold/merge/replace/stabilize policy for managing embeddings in live streams where transcripts evolve in real time. Patent application in preparation.
Cross-Channel Synchronization
Correlates semantically related events across concurrent live broadcasts with a staged validation window. F1 score 0.81 across 3–5 simultaneous streams with inter-stream offsets of 4–25 seconds.

The Olgoo logo is inspired by this gold roundel — a winged lion crafted by Achaemenid Persian goldsmiths between 550 and 330 BC, believed to have been found at Hamadan, the site of ancient Ecbatana, capital of the Median Empire. It now resides at the Oriental Institute Museum at the University of Chicago.
In Persian tradition the winged lion unites earthly strength with transcendent reach — a guardian between what is and what is possible. For a Canadian AI company rooted in Persian heritage, building technology that amplifies the voices of a diaspora the world has tried to silence, it felt like the only honest symbol.
That this artifact sits in Chicago — across Lake Ontario from our North York headquarters — is a thread connecting our Iranian roots, our Canadian identity, and our North American ambitions.
